>I hope I wake up to a WHTM from Heather. Does she have access out there?
Well, if you insist :-) Hmm. I got here around 6 o'clock Thursday evening and was picked up my my 12 year old cousin and her mother, who warned me that it was <cold> outside. I donned my jacket, picked up my suitcase, and trudged on. About 5 minutes later I was outside, sweating. "This is cold?" Sheesh. They need to go for a little RI vacation, methinks.
Anyhow, I called Betty and confused her (I wouldn't tell her who I was right away), but eventually she caught on and I babbled...and babbled. We made plans for the next night (Lefty O' Doul's), and before I knew it, *everyone* was going. My Dad likes to sing there when he's in town, and he used to sing there all the time, as I understand it.
Anyhow, eventually it was <time> and we were all <there>. I walked in right behind Bookrat who DID NOT RECOGNIZE ME. I was hurt until I realized that his priorities were 1.) Beer 2.) Heather, and that I had thrown a wrench into the works. No matter..hugs all around and everything was okay :-)
Bookrat did a memorable rendition of Teddy Bear's picnic and we all sort of sang along with random song (some of us more than others) I admit to an overindulgence in the pianist's time, but heck. That was last year (Yeah yeah I know it is still the same year, but by the time many of you read this, it won't be :-)
I was told that Verdant and I could pass for relatives and I also got to see the TITTOO, much to the waiters' amusement (they watched the bunch of us crowd into a service room...I think they <knew>.) Right now I'm in Bookrat's bedroom. More on that later.
